Another year has come and gone! Where does the time go? 2009 was an amazing year for us. Steve was named Fugitive Task Force Officer of the year by the US Marshals and was nominated for the US Marshal Law Enforcement Officer of the Year in the whole Nation!!! He is such a stud! As for me... I got into block 2 of nursing school, and am half way done!! We will be starting our clinical rotation at the VA hospital in the Emergency Room next week and I cant wait! That is right up my alley! The girls continue to get bigger and bigger! Kayte turned 18 this year!! She came out to AZ for her birthday and we took her skydiving! She loved it! She is in wrestling this year, and despite a broken nose and black eye she is still in it and getting better and better everyday! On top of that she is still modeling, working 2 jobs and getting great grades!! She is so awesome!!! Samantha is 7 now!! She is so smart and loves school! She also really likes golf, and has been taking lessons in Hawaii! This summer she said she wants to do dance and gymnastics! We made a family trip to see her in October with Andee and my parents! Andee loved Hawaii! Samantha and Andee always pick up right where they left off as best friends, and never stop giggling! Andee will be 4 next week!! I can't believe how big she is getting! She is sooo funny and is such a little social butterfly (between the 2 of us Steve never gets any peace and quiet. haha)! She got a new bike for Christmas and is such a little dare devil and loves to go fast! She loves dance and gymnastics and just had her first recital! She just loves being in the spotlight!!! We are so lucky to have such good girls!!
In 2009 we were quite the little globe trotters! We went to Tampa Bay Florida to watch our Cardinals play against the Steelers in the Superbowl! Steve took me to Sedona to go on a hot air baloon ride for our 1 year anniversary (another check off my bucket list). We've been to our favorite place in Rocky Point, Mexico a few times and to Hawaii twice! This summer we went back to Iowa to see his family. I got to see where he grew up and meet most of his friends! We also just got back from Costa Rica where we spent a week just before Christmas! We have had a very busy year!
We are looking forward to the year 2010! We are busy planning a wedding, and I will be graduating from the LPN program in June and hopefully going into the next block of the RN program in August! Steve is going to see Samantha in Hawaii in the next couple weeks and Andee will be celebrating her 4th birthday!Samantha will be here for the whole summer, and we are looking into going on a "modeling cruise" with Kayte! Steve is also having his highschool reunion this summer in Iowa, and a possible Marine Corps reunion in Vegas! That's all I can really think of off the top of my head right now, and this is getting pretty lengthy!!
We are so blessed to have such an amazing family and life. We can't wait to see what the future holds in store for us! As for me, one of my New Years resolutions is to be better about updating this blog!!! (I've been slacking)
